Four houses
The proposal's primary goal is comprehension and naturalness – both towards the future inhabitants and the landscape and surroundings. Therefore, the protected housing is divided into four detached houses. The division of the structures supports not only vistas but a non-institutional character and ordinary lifestyle as well. It develops the independence and individuality of its inhabitants. Moreover, the smaller-scale houses promote a stronger relationship to the place. Objects in the garden harmonize with the terrain, intertwine with the trees and create a small, harmonious neighborhood. Life, buildings, and space are interconnected into one whole.
The houses themselves have a legible and accommodating expression. The economically thoughtful design embraces ordinary materials such as plaster, metal, or coarse masonry; however, presented in elegant and contemporary detail. The overall complex is addressed as barrier-free. All dispositions are easily readable, with clearly defined private areas. The plot is accessible by two main entrances, inviting you further and offering a place to rest and contemplate.
