This solitary house at the bus station in Vimperk is not only a significant landmark for the area due to its location and content, but it also creates a focal point for the town. We approach the project as a cornerstone, which is defined by its uniform use of materials and high windows.

The main facade bearing the emblem of the town is underlined with a cantilever, which creates covered entrance to the store on the ground floor. The facade with its connection to the bus station creates a recognizable image for the visitors. As the building is situated in the context of the station, the main used material is a silver corrugated metal cladding divided by the regular rhythm of the windows and a single horizontal joint. The building fills the entire site with the exception of the cut out on the south side which defines the entrace to the administrative part of the building.
